The e-Accelerators LinkedIn Group specialises in international business development in the ICT and digital media sector.This is a collaborative space for EMF Executive Advisors supporting ICT and digital media organisations in their international expansion. This group is restricted to EMF Executive Advisors.


INNOVATION


The European Alliance for Innovation (EAI) is a grassroots movement initiated through cooperation between public, private and government organisations to address the global challenges of Europe’s future competitiveness through innovation. EAI focuses on societal issues and application areas of greatest potential for ICT- driven innovations. EIA carries out much of its work through Science, Innovation and Business (SIB) Councils bringing together all key players within the ICT innovation cycle facilitating the spread of innovative ideas and identifying growth areas. SIBs are open to all registered participants.


FUTURE INTERNET ENTREPRISE SYSTEMS

 
The Future Internet Enterprise Systems (FInES) Cluster has emerged as a field of activity that aims at enabling enterprises, including SMEs, by means of ICT, to exploit the full potential of the Future Internet. The FInES community consists of more than 750 stakeholders (users, providers, intermediaries, public authorities, standards organisations, the research community). The Cluster has a strong focus on cross-domain co-operation (web semantics, web content technologies, grids, collaborative environments, service oriented architectures, eGovernment, etc.), whereas natural links with standardisation bodies (CEN's eBIF, ICT Standardisation Study, ETSI, etc) and EU Enterprise policy exist, as well as cooperation with various Directorates-General of the European Commission. The Future Internet Enterprise Systems LinkedIn Group is open to all interested parties.


LANGUAGE INDUSTRIES & MULTILINGUALISM IN BUSINESS


META-NET is a Network of Excellence dedicated to building the technological foundations of a multilingual European information society. The META Vision Groups are an important instrument within META-NET. Vision Groups meet twice a year to generate domain-specific visions and roadmaps in the form of technology forecasts. This includes ideas for innovative applications of language technology and scenarios for the future knowledge society. A discussion forum was set up as an additional means to collect visions and opinions from people who may not attend the face-to-face Vision Group meetings. This discussion forum is open to all interested and qualified parties.

INTERNET JOBS


The e-Jobs Observatory is an information sharing platform about e-Jobs, e-Skills and e-Competences. It aims at fostering better interaction between key stakeholders, improving the employability of job seekers, reducing the e-skills shortages on the EU labour market, improving the quality of Vocational Education & Training (VET) in the field of e-Jobs and making VET more transparent and comparable at European level.
Participation in the platform is open to all qualified bodies and individuals.

The e-Jobs Observatory LinkedIn Group focuses on e-Skills and e-Jobs for all. It aims at fostering employability in the ICT sector and a more pervasive availability of e-Skills through:
- more accurate e-jobs and internet-related jobs definitions;
- a better match between training offers and industry needs;
- more productive interaction between ICT companies (particularly SMEs) and their representative organisations, training organisations providing ICT training programmes and public authorities involved in ICT training and employment policy setting. INDIAN OCEAN



The EU-Indian Ocean LinkedIn Group promotes the cooperation between EMF and key ICT actors from Mauritius and Madagascar to reinforcesthe ICT sector in the Indian Ocean. The group is composed by The Mauritius Chamber of Commerce (MCCI), the Outsourcing and telecommunications association of Mauritius (OTAM) , The ICT association of Madagascar (GOTICOM) and EMF. This group is restricted.

LATIN AMERICA


The PRO-IDEAL platform is a KNOWLEDGE SOURCE on the EU's Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) Research & Development Programme and a LINK between LATIN AMERICA and EUROPE.
Participation in the platform is open to all qualified bodies and individuals.

Pro-Ideal
A collaborative blog focusing on reinforcing the collaboration between the EU and Latin America in ICT Research and Development. Qualified people who would like to contribute are invited to contact us.

The PRO-IDEAL LinkedIn Group promotes the dialogue between Europe and Latin America in the field of ICT R&D. The main objective of the group is the promotion of the PRO-IDEAL tools and methodologies: 
- An ICT Wiki providing alphabetical key words for all topics of the FP 7 ICT Programme, with practical links to the relevant CORDIS and ec.europa.eu pages;
- Organisation profiling and project ideas questionnaires allowing interested parties to submit his/her profiles for partner search and for project ideas to be assessed for their feasibility by experts;
- The Project Angels mechanism through which local experts are trained to help creating ICT projects.
This group is open to all interested and qualified parties.


Towards a Joint EU-LA Digital Agenda is a LinkedIn Group for people involved in the policy debate on a joint Digital Agenda between Latin America and Europe. It allows participants to contribute their ideas, keep themselves informed, discuss and link up with other relevant parties in the policy dialogue. This group is open to qualified and invited parties only.


The Project Angels LinkedIn Group allows participants to share knowledge, keep themselves informed and discuss course exercises. The Project Angels are specifically trained in the understanding of the ICT Programme and EU funding mechanisms. They are locally established to help potential project participants with advice on how to proceed. This group is open to course students and invited parties only.
